There has been a lot of change in the short-term rental (STR) market! Counties and cities are getting more strict with their permitting, so a lot of places that used to be short-term rentals are no longer able to be rented on a short-term basis. That is usually considered 30 days or less.
If you have thought about getting a STR as an investment, it can still be a great idea! I just think you need to go into it with your eyes open and know what your strategy is.
